Qualifications in Wedding Photography

I am a qualified full-time professional wedding photographer, being a Licentiate Member of both the British Institute of Professional Photography and the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers. I am also a qualified member of the Guild of Photographers and a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography. All of these organisations require their members to adhere to a strict Code of Professional Practice when dealing with their clients.

Our Aims

As a qualified professional photographer with over ten years experience of photographing weddings and events, my sole aim is to provide you with a worry-free professional service before, during and after your Wedding Day. I am regularly complimented for my polite and unobtrusive approach and for the outstanding personal service we provide. We never forget that it’s your Wedding Day and your wedding photographs.


Our Careful Planning

Several weeks before your wedding we will spend time with you discussing in detail the photography for your wedding day. This may also include visiting the various venues with you and, if you are planning a church wedding, we will attend your wedding rehearsal. We will incorporate any special poses and requests you make and there is no limit to the number of photographs we take. We then work to an agreed flexible “Photoscript” on the wedding day and we will provide the Best Man and the ushers with copies.


As a guide we will:

• Take a selection of photographs where the Bride is preparing;
• Arrive at the wedding location to photograph the Groom arriving, the Groom & Best Man, the Groom, Best Man & Ushers, the Groom and his family;
• Photograph the Bridesmaids & Guests arriving;
• Photograph the Bride arriving, the Bride and her Father, the Bride and the Bridal Party;
• We will cover those parts of the Wedding Ceremony which the celebrant or registrar has agreed we can photograph;
• We will photograph the Bride & Groom signing the Register and then bring in the Witnesses;
• We will photograph the Bride & Groom coming down the aisle of the Church or leaving the Wedding Room;
• We will take a range of formal photographs of family and friends outside the Church or wedding location;
• We will also take candid photographs there and at the Reception;
• We will take formal and/or candid portraits of the Bride & Groom;
• At the Reception we will photograph the wedding cake and the wedding breakfast room, the speeches, the Bride & Groom cutting the cake and usually we are there to photograph your First Dance.

Wedding Prices for 2008

Classical & Traditional Coverages with the option
of a Contemporary Style Wedding Album

Snapshot:
Church or Civil Ceremony Only for £495
This is our basic package recording the wedding ceremony and capturing the whole atmosphere of your special day. We take an unlimited number of photographs, both formal and candid, from the arrival of the Groom through to the departure of the Bride & Groom in their Wedding Car.

We then supply you with either a traditional wedding album containing twenty 8x6 inch prints chosen from all the images captured on the day or a modern 10x10 inch storybook album with fifteen pages, which means thirty spreads. A full selection of photographs will also be available for viewing online by you, your family & friends.

Fuscia:
Ceremony & Reception for £795
We take an unlimited number of photographs from the arrival of the Groom & Best Man through to a set-up image of the Bride & Groom cutting their Wedding Cake at the Reception.

From the Preview Album, which will be yours to keep, we ask you to choose either a traditional wedding album with thirty 8x6 inch prints to be included in your bonded-leather Wedding Album or a modern 14x10 inch storybook album with fifteen pages, which means thirty spreads. Also included is a 10x8 inch framed print & a DVD with all the images in your Preview Album. A selection of your previews will be on-line for your guests to view and order for three months.

Carnation:
Bride’s Home, Ceremony and Reception for £995
We take an unlimited number of photographs from which you can select thirty-six sized at 8x6 and four 7x5 inch prints to be included in a either a luxury-bonded leather traditional wedding album or a modern 14x10 inch storybook album with fifteen pages, which means thirty spreads.

Our attendance starts at the Bride's home and ends shortly after your First Dance at your Reception. Your Preview Album is included in this price as is a 12x10 inch framed print and your wedding proofs will be on-line for three months. A Wedding DVD is also included in this price with all the images in your Preview Album plus a selection of additional candid images.

Rose:
Bride’s Home, Ceremony & Reception for £1195– Two Album Option
An unlimited number of photographs will be taken commencing at the Bride's home and only ending after your First Dance at the Reception. We will then ask you to select thirty-two prints sized at 10x8 inches and a further eight sized at 8x6 inches to be included in your choice of a luxury bonded-leather traditional wedding album.

We will also supply you with a contemporary 14x10 inch storybook style album wedding album with fifteen pages and thirty spreads. Your Preview Album is included in this price as is a 12x10 inch framed print and your wedding proofs will be on-line for three months. We also include a Wedding DVD with all the images in your Preview Album plus a large selection of the candid images captured on your Wedding Day.

Extra Services available to be added to All Packages:

•A pre-wedding shoot is offered at no charge. We then supply the Bride & Groom with a complimentary framed 10x8 in print.

•Your Wedding Previews will be supplied in an A4 sized book-bound album. They are yours to keep with the Fuscia, Carnation and Rose coverages.
If you book the Snapshot Coverage the Preview Album may be purchased as an optional extra.

•We will supply you with a DVD of your wedding images with most coverages.

•Your post-wedding reprint orders can come from yourselves, from family and friends, and from orders placed through our website.

• Fully montaged 6x4 inch Keepsake Albums are available at £200 each.

Civil Ceremony Coverage

After discussion with the Bride and Groom:

• We photograph the arrival of the Groom, Best Man and groomsmen, and important members of the Groom’s Family;

• We also photograph the arrival of the Bride, Bridesmaids and important members of the Bride’s Family;

• If we are permitted to, we will also take photographs during the Ceremony;

• We photograph the signing of the Register and then take a series of both formal and candid shots in the grounds of your Civil Ceremony location;

• We will also photograph the Bride and Groom separately and as a happy couple;

• We usually end with “the confetti shot” and then photograph the married couple getting into their limousine and also seated in the car.

Our fee for this coverage depends on the amount of our time required. This will usually work out at two hours charged at £130, inclusive of your Preview Album. Your Wedding Album & Prints and a Wedding DVD are in addition to this figure. You can decide which to order after your wedding.

As a Guide:

• A Wedding Album holding 8x6 inch prints will cost approximately £70 and the prints will cost £16 per pair of images, including tissue inter-leaving;

• A Wedding Album holding 10x8 inch prints will cost on average £85 and the prints will cost £19 per pair of images including the tissue inter-leaving;

• Storybook Albums are also now available for £150 or £200 depending on size;

• Parents’ Albums are available at £235 and £285 depending on the size of prints requested. All Parents’ Albums contain twenty prints.

• The photographs in your “Preview Album” are not over-printed with “proof copy” and you may choose to purchase additional Preview Albums; our normal charge is £95. Please enquire when you book;

• Black and White photographs can be produced, should you require them;

• All our prints are covered by copyright legislation and may not be copied without our permission.

Digital Image Coverage for £695
As a modern alternative for couples not requiring a Wedding Album at this stage, we now offer this package.

An unlimited number of photographs will be taken during the day and you will receive these as high resolution images on a DVD. Copyright will be waived, so there will be no restrictions on their usage by you.

We will also provide you with an A4 sized Preview Album containing 200 images telling the story of your Wedding Day. A selection of images will also be put onto our Website Ordering link for family and friends to view and to order if they wish.

Réportage & Storybook Style Coverage: Four Album Option

The Bride’s Home, Ceremony & Reception at £1500
Full coverage of your day through to the First Dance.

We will then supply you with a fifteen page contemporary Storybook Wedding Album measuring 14 x 10 inches, two fifteen page 6x4 inch Keepsake Parents' Albums and a bookbound A4 sized Preview Album and a DVD with images covering the whole day.

All these albums are supplied in presentation boxes.

Additional Travelling Charges:
Beyond a twenty-five mile radius of Bexley we charge an additional 20p per mile.

Note:
All the above Réportage Coverages start where the Bride is preparing and move through your Wedding Day to finish with your First Dance.

We also supply you with a Preview Album, which is yours to keep, and a DVD with all the images captured during the day.

Our Full No Album Coverage:
We do offer a full coverage of your wedding from the Bride’s home through to your First Dance for which we charge £695 including a bookbound A4 Preview Album. We will provide you with a DVD containing high resolution images taken at your wedding, leaving you to source your own wedding album and the prints. We can provide you with your chosen prints if you wish. Please ask for further details.



Parents’ Albums in general:

These are usually supplied in a bonded-leather Album in the colour of your choice and can be gold-blocked on the cover with “Our Daughter’s Wedding” or “Our Son’s Wedding”.
The prices include calligraphy for the Title Page of the album as well as tissue interleaving and all albums come in a presentation box.
The Albums are priced at £225 for an album with twenty 7x5 inch prints or £275 for an album with twenty 8x6 inch prints.

Events Coverage:

We cover many “Events” during the year and these include wedding celebration parties, special dinners and lunches, speech days, school concerts, christenings, airshows and motoring events.

The photo on the right shows Stirling Moss at the 2005 Goodwood Festival of Speed driving the Mercedes 300SLR in which he won the 1955 Mille Miglia race.

This was the car’s last public appearance before it’s retirement to the Mercedes museum in Stuttgart.

Website Ordering

We offer website ordering of all the images captured at our weddings and the other events we cover. All the guests at your wedding will be given the details about how to access this website. They can then view all the images and place their orders on line. The images are all printed on professional photographic paper and mailed out to members of your family, friends and your wedding guests. Parents’ albums and prints can still be ordered directly through us if that method is preferred. However, prints ordered through us will be slightly more expensive to cover my time and travel.
